2 seasons ago, this team was 4 games (albeit a sweep) away from the World Series. After one more season of injuries and underachievement, Billy (The Brain) Beane saw fit to tear down this entire team to "rebuild the farm system". What a joke. He did this to dump salary - plain and simple - but he didnt dump the right salraies - i.e. Eric Chavez.
